I’m The Only Person Here I've Never Heard Of

By Sunniva Moen Rørvik

Sunniva Moen Rørvik is a choreographer and dance filmmaker who often plays with humor and queer theory in their choreography work. Using the outdoor space as a calm backdrop to an otherwise chaotic and absurd adventure, this short film challenges viewers as to what dance can be. We meet strange characters with exaggerated movements and gestures, and we find ourselves in an exciting gray area between dance and theatre.

Choreography and direction: Sunniva Moen Rørvik

Dancers: Bel Eade and Sunniva Moen Rørvik

Filming: Sunniva Moen Rørvik and Elena Hoskyns-Abrahall

Music made by Vegard Nesfossen Dreier including sounds made and edited by Elena Hoskyns-Abrahall
