This tour primarily tells the story of how Manchester’s Canal Street came to be known as the Gay Village. Through monuments, memorials, street art and historic pubs – you’ll learn about Manchester’s LGBT+ heroes, past and present. These tours are a great way to get insider recommendations, meet similar minded people, and connect with our Queer past. The tour is led by Mancunian LGBT History MA graduates.
