In a historic first, the House of Spice is taking space in the heart of Canal Street to combat racism by bringing QTIPOC joy and excellence.

The J.A.M - stands for Jashn (Persian) Celebration, Aashor (Bengali) Celebration, Mehfil (Urdu/Arabic) through performance.

Join House of Spice on this spectacular fusion of Spice and Slay! 

Following on from a racist incident in the heart of Manchester’s Gay Village in 2022, the House of Spice is leading on this celebratory demonstration and performance extravaganza event at Velvet, with support from Manchester Pride, LGBT Foundation, Black Beetle Health, and Rainbow Noir.

Join us to take up space, represent/support a part of the LGBTQ+ community and celebrate our Brown Joy!

  • Partake in a Rally/ Demonstration down Canal Street to take up space and Combat Racism

  • Welcome Drink at Velvet (Alcohol or Nonalcoholic)

  • A Special Performance by House Mother & Host Lucky Roy Singh

  • A performance by a member from Ghetto Fabulous, House of Blaque, House of Noir & a Slay by House of Spice Performers.

  • Pictures at our Model Style Photo Booth

  • A fantastic DJ
