The Superbia Gallery

  • Number 70 Oxford Street M1 5NH Manchester (map)

Last year The Superbia Gallery was a huge success, attracting around 350 visitors over the weekend. The Gallery returns for 2019 featuring art by Manchester LGBTQIA-identified artists working across sculpture, music, film, couture, animation, painting, digital, photography, portraiture, poetry and more. We feature artists who have been in Manchester less than a year alongside artists who have lived here their whole life. Come along to this free exhibition and enjoy a snapshot of the city’s vibrant queer arts scene.

On Sunday 25 August at 3pm we will host a guided tour of the Gallery with artists' talks.

Featuring work from Christian Asare / Cheddar Gorgeous / Tom Quaye / Heather Glazzard / Brett Dearden / Ivy Duff / AKT / Harri Shanahan / Frank Dowd / Maz Hedgehog / Adam Bennett-Lea / Hannah Mclennan Jones / Mens Room Manchester / Abigail Ward / Helen Darby / Wilderness Hymnal / Bonnie Hansel / Monopoly Phonic / Afshan D'souza-Lodhi / Maurice Carlin / Nick Maynard / Tobias Pearson / Jae Lythgoe / Drew Lawson
