Join Travis Alabanza for an intimate writing workshop that aims to use poetry, text and play to reflect and interrogate our relationship to our gender, bodies and the outside. Inspired by Travis’ debut poetry book ‘before I step outside (you love me)’, the workshop aims to use different writing prompts, discussions and sharings to have space to think about our gender, public space, and imagining something more.
This workshop is open to trans, gender non-conforming, non-binary and queer folks exploring their gender. The workshop is hosted by the Centre for New Writing at the University of Manchester and is free to attend but spaces are limited so please register to reserve a place.
