Join the winners of the Superbia Chapbook Competition as they launch their collections of new writing. Maz Hedgehog reads from her shimmering collection of fairy tale poems, loosely inspired by Edmund Spencer's The Faerie Queene. James Hodgson reads from his collection of weird short stories, which explode the gay male body and reconfigure it in a variety of new ways.

Vivat Regina by Maz Hedgehog and A Creature of Transformation by James Hodgson will be on sale at the event, priced £5.99 each (or both for £10).

The event will be MC'd by local poet and editor Adam Lowe, who founded Young Enigma and mentored the two writers in their journey towards publication.

The Superbia Chapbook Competition was supported by a grant from Manchester Pride's Superbia, with additional writer development funded by Commonword. The project was managed by Young Enigma.
