Zero Patience

This 1993 musical is a jaw-dropping oddity, debunking the alleged introduction of HIV into the USA by a single individual. Exchanging assumed grief for queer celebration, it secures a spot in film history for an infamous ‘singing asshole’ sequence. (18. Directed by John Greyson). This screening will be introduced by Dr Monica Pearl, Lecturer in 20th Century American Literature at the University of Manchester.

Part of the John Walter: CAPSID Film Season and Day With(out) Art 2018.
