'Therapy' is an expressive review of the inner battles, doubts and dilemmas of a person dealing with past pathological issues such as homophobia or other forms of discrimination and how these impact on his daily life and how he has dealt with the resultant chronic depression and anxiety.
'Therapy' is a visual outcome of attempts to understand the link between artist’s creativity and a mental illness. The name 'therapy' came from the belief that the actual practice of painting is one of the ways of understanding and recovering from mental illness and is in itself a form of therapy.
The main idea behind this project is to raise awareness of the invisible character of mental illness which brings feelings of alienation and lack of understanding from society.
