Drink & Draw session, Exhibition Launch and Talk

Bury Art Gallery presents an evening of LGBT+ themed art, live drawing and music, and exciting new work.
5pm: A talk by artist Jez Dolan looking at his his current interventions into the collections gallery at Bury Art Museum as part of our year-long LGBTQ celebration/exploration.
Plus: opening of new exhibition 'What, Is She Black Now?' by the Manchester-based textile artist Seleena Laverne Day, whose work riffs off 90s pop culture to look at topics of race, gender and sexuality.
5:30-7:30pm: Live drawing session with costumed models focusing on the theme of 'identity'. Including live music from resident sound artist Helmut Lemke, a late opening of the gallery tea rooms, an in-house bar and prizes to be won!
