Rod Tame Presents – Pop Tart: Now that’s What I Call 40!

17th February 2016 @ 06:30pm

How does a boy react when he realises his first crush is for Jason Donovan?!

A show about choosing to live, choosing to love, and choosing to dance… to cheesy pop music.
WARNING: This show contains references to Steps that may distress some people with superior taste in music.

Rod Tame is a writer and performer of poetry at nights up and down the country, including ‘Other Voices’ at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, ‘Evidently’ in Salford, ‘SFX’ at The Royal Exchange, and ‘Incite! at the Phoenix’ in London. He was also a finalist in the ‘Word War One’ slam at 3MT in Manchester last year, and emcee for Mr B. the Gentleman Rhymer’s recent gig in Manchester.

Rod will be performing Pop Tart: Now That’s What I Call 40! at Central Library as part of our LGBT History Month Celebrations.

Free event but tickets must be booked through 'More Info' link.
