LGBT+ music exhibition with launch
13 Jul - 10 Sep
Queer Noise is a community exhibition exploring how queer club culture and LGBT+ music-makers in Greater Manchester helped to redefine attitudes towards sexuality across the city and beyond. It features rarely seen material provided by Manchester District Music Archive’s online community, including photos, flyers, posters and videos from the 1950s to today.
Part of Never Going Underground , a year long programme of exhibitions, events and learning programmes exploring the past, present and future of LGBT+ activism.
Suitable for adults and young people.
