Continuum: Framing Trans Lives in 21st Century Britain

Continuum: Framing Trans Lives in 21st Century Britain

23 Jun - 03 Sep

Recent years have seen an explosion of media interest in trans* issues, but many misconceptions about the realities of trans* people’s lives remain. Curated by Artmob, 'Continuum' showcases the diversity of trans* voices in 21st century Britain and features 15 artists from a variety of backgrounds, working across a range of artistic media.

The exhibition welcomes visitors into the artists’ lives to share their stories in all their glory. Their work reveals how much there is that unites rather than divides us and, in the process, gets to the heart of what it is to be human.

The exhibition launches with a special evening on 23 June with booking required via Eventbrite and runs until Sunday 3 September.

This exhibition forms part of the Never Going Underground season at People's History Musuem, a year long programme of exhibitions, events and learning programmes exploring the past, present and future of LGBT+ activism. Suitable for all ages.
